A Touch of Death follows Catherine's journey into the Outlands with a man she despises: the brother of the man she loves. Along the way, we see the many ways the corrupt can justify cruelty, the eloquent can hide murder, and the heroic can defy everything. Crunden delivers a fast-paced narrative, propelled by action and conflicted emotions.
